Make Yourself At Home | nursery edition

We had a baby! well… I mean my twin sister had a baby! while she did the hard part, I got to have some fun helping her design her first nursery…

Carolyn knew that she wanted to use Hello,Rabbit in Washed Indigo and plan the rest of the room around this sweet print. We decided to use the shades of blue in the pattern as a starting point to make a space that mixed & matched different tones of soft blues and even added some greens into the mix for a fun pop.

dIY headboard

Carolyn selected a crib with an upholstered backboard ( fun fact, this crib can transition into a full size bed!) It came in a blah linen color, so we simply reupholstered using some leftover fabric. We only needed about a yard for this project. It was super simple, and can easily be changed out in the future

WINDOW TO THE SOUL

Using Hello,Rabbit in key focal points allows the print to take center stage, but also allows for the room to transition easily as this little boy grows up.

This custom window treatment has a blackout lining for the ultimate night of uninterrupted sleep …someday far, far in the future

HAND PAINTED DETAILS

I hand painted these Dreamy little details on a linen lampshade, pulling from different pieces in the room to create a story fit for bedtime.
