The Leon Collection is a collection of patterns exploring myth and magic with playful wonder and expression. Inspiration comes from all over, even from my feline companion: Leon.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been dreaming of drawing on walls. There is something magic in art that can come alive in the home, reflecting and interacting with the objects and lives around it . With The Leon Collection, I explore patterns rich in depth and movement, and of course give you a cast of creatures to join in on the fun. This collection of four patterns preserves the hand-made feel of my art and reflects the magical realism that surrounds us. Inspired by myths, the natural world and a love of animals, these designs are personal, adding an emotional element to your interiors. Tranquil blues and subtle movement create a sense of calm and beckon you to get lost in these worlds.
Each design started as a madcap exploration using all sorts of materials and experiments from cut paper and paint, to cyanotype paper and even feathers. Moving to the computer I develop pattern repeats while playing with scale and color.
I have partnered with manufacturers in Connecticut to develop high-quality wallpaper that we truly believe in - from start to finish.The designs are digitally printed onto clay coated paper and the final result perfectly captures the nuances of the original art with a matte finish - perfect for residential or low-traffic commercial spaces. Our partners are committed to making responsibly - using eco-friendly inks and surfaces along with recyclable packaging.
